Homage to Catalonia. Orwell’s classic describes a region that is more than a physical entity, but also an idea and a way of life. With Catalan independence a live political issue of late, there has never been a better time to come and discover what makes this part of Spain unique. In doing so you will cycle around an area not just favoured by adventurers and dreamers but also professional cyclists, many of whom are based here due to the ideal climate and perfect roads.
This tour is among our most accessible; the daily mileage can be managed with a few hours cycling before and after lunch, leaving time to explore the towns which are a feature of this trip, including Dali's beloved Cadaqués. Packing in swimming spots and plenty of time on the beach, you’ll no doubt leave this trip hailing Visca Cataluña!
